What is Quiz.Net?
Quiz.Net is a Comprehensive Education Platform, which is uniquely setup as a bridge between, what we call as the four main pillars of K-12 (and beyond) education. Four Pillars of this Bridge are the Students, Content Authors, Teachers, and Parents. Our focus is to help disseminate the education and learning across this ecosystem.
Student's safety is our foremost goal. We strive to achieve it using many methods; electronic, digital, and manual. Content available on our Marketplace is subject to significant scrutiny. For example, Checking for certain keywords, analysis of submitted pictures and videos, disallowing anonymous content publishing, rating system, verified logos, etc., are some of the methods that we use.
Many features on Quiz.Net as a learning platform are free of cost. Certain services and products provided by us cost money. Please refer to the Pricing for more details.
Quiz.Net is a learning and testing platform. The content available on our platform is organized with multiple parameters. Students learn and test by working on individual quizzes, which are organized in a folder, which is called a Study Set. Each Study Set can contain multiple quizzes, following a progression defined by the Study Set author. Study Sets are created as individual entities and disseminated on Quiz.Net. Some of the attributes associated with Study Sets are; title, author information, subject, grade level, user ratings, cost (if any), etc.
Quiz.Net strives to be a safe place for students, kids, and other users of the platform. In order for us to maintain that, we require extra layers of validation and authentication in some cases. You will be asked for these additional steps, whenever such services are requested by your actions on Quiz.Net. For example, Quiz.Net certified authors are required to have at least one of their Facebook and Twitter profile linked with their Quiz.Net account. In addition, these authors are required to pay the fee to become certified on Quiz.Net. Fee structure for this service is list on the Pricing page.
Similarly, only validated users are allowed to provide feedback to Study Sets available on Quiz.Net Marketplace. This validation requires such users to link at least one of their Facebook and Twitter profile with Quiz.Net account.
Quiz.Net features are associated with your account profile. Depending on your current profile, some of Quiz.Net features would not fit your current role. Pleaes note, it is very easy to switch between various roles by simly changing your profile type. For a comparative view, please visit Profile Change page. You can choose your profile to one of:
  • Student
  • Author
  • Group Leader, or
  • Parent

Students

How do I find specific learning material?
We recommend using our advanced search tool. With that tool, you can find relevant study material easily.
Yes! We provide a very rich interface to help you build very high quality study sets. Some of the tools available on our platform are; Advanced Editor for Rich Text, Equation Editor using LaTeX (LaTeX on Wikipedia), Import Tool, and many more.
Yes, you can! Becoming an Author on our platform is very easy. Once you agree to our Terms and Conditions for Authors for publishing content, the world is your audience. Quiz.Net strives to be a honest and student/kids friendly platform. Therefore, in short, objectionable material is not allowed. And, NO PLAGARISM! Content Authors are responsible for their own content. We take this VERY SERIOUSLY.
Once you have created the Study Set, submit it for our review and approval process. After a successful review, your study set would be available on our Marketplace. Your friends can now subscribe to your study set.

How do I create content on Quiz.Net?
You first need to agree to our Terms and Conditions for Authors for publishing content. Quiz.Net strives to be a honest and student/kids friendly platform. Therefore, in short, objectionable material is not allowed. And, NO PLAGARISM! Content Authors are responsible for their own content. We take this VERY SERIOUSLY.

Group Leaders

Who are the Group Leaders?
Group Leaders are those individual, who use Quiz.Net in a group or a classroom setting. Group Leaders can
  • Create multiple study groups on Quiz.Net
  • Administer students in these study groups
  • Assign work to students in the study groups
  • Review the submitted work and provide feedback
  • Review individual and group performance
Becoming a Group Leader in itself is free. On the other hand, Group Leaders can only assign their own content and/or the study sets available free of cost on Quiz.Net to the study group members.
Group Leader must buy multiple licenses for the Paid Content available on Quiz.Net, with one license required per member of the Study Group.
In addition, the basic tier of Group Leader profile is limited to a fixed number of classrooms and number of students in those classrooms. Please refer to detailed guidelines located at Pricing page for larger groups.

Parents

How do I monitor my child's progress on Quiz.Net?
In the parent dashboard, there are rich set of tools, which can provide parents with comprehensive information to parents on how their students are performing on accuracy and speed.
In some cases, parents can also review the child's performance relative to other students across the globe!
There is no cost to track your student's performance on Quiz.Net!
